1. Do you know Dilish Parekh of Mumbai, India has the largest collection of cameras? With a collection of 4,425 antique cameras, he has the largest collections till date. Any guess about his oldest camera date? It is of 1907.

3. Do you know about a $2.8 million Camera? Yes, that is the most expensive camera ever sold. The camera brand was Leica, and it was sold at an auction in Vienna in the year 1923.
4. Do you know photography is yesteryear’s wasn’t as simple as today? Earlier cameras would take several hours to capture a single film! We have come so far…are not we??
5. Do you know why people in the 19th century were so serious in their photos? It is because they didn’t like being photographed. The whole photography process used to take a very long time, more than 20 minutes or so. The process was daguerreotype, invented in 1837. Imagine anyone holding a smile for that long! In contrast, now more than 350 billion photos are taken worldwide every year.
